Make a difference: American Red Cross volunteers are there for their neighbors, to prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies in a variety of ways.  Volunteers teach skills that save lives.  They comfort victims of disaster and transport older adults and people with disabilities to medical appointments.  They educate people about disaster risks and help children learn how to avoid danger.
